They're a school. The problem is that they use some very high-pressure sales tactics to make you think the only thing standing in the way of stardom are the classes they just happen to offer. Young people have no natural defense against this sort of thing, and end up thinking they're actually auditioning for something.

You can find acting lessons for a lot less than they charge. And models don't need lessons.

I don't know anything about these two agencies except that they're in Oklahoma City and don't appear to be "schools". You're going to have to have your mother check them out thoroughly.

It's a scam. That is all they do is take money. I would suggest that your mom go back complain and get her money back.

Forget getting agencies right now. Just do local theatre and see if there are any local casting agencies. If there are local casting agencies then send your information to them.
