Be sure to sing it in your vocal range, and don't stain yourself!

I would go with something from Disney

"Reflection" from Mulan
"Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas
"Whistle While You Work" from Snow White
"Something There" from Beauty and the Beast

Don't do anything from a classical production - probably no Rogers and Hammerstein.

JC Superstar would be great! So would Godspell, Hairspray, Mamma Mia...just think about shows that have music with a nice tempo and are kind of more...rockish than say, Sound of Music.
