Yes it is. It's starting pay for a college teacher with a Masters or PH D degree.

It is, however, not unusual. I know two people who duplicated DVDs and VHS tapes and they have to load 100 machines, start them with a push button, sit and monitor them constantly and they get $25 an hour to do that.

The big thing, you know, is that YOU don't do it 40 hours a week 50 weeks a year, which these people do!

You work when there's work. Which is why the pay is so high.

Most actors make under $10,000 a year. They do it through one appearance on a TV show ($3,000), residuals from other TV shows over the last 5 years ($5,000) and some low pay stage work in small theater ($200 a week).

f* yeah - Im almost 30 have a college degree and make that much and I think Im doing well.

Actually you cant make any money in the US - the minimum legal age to work here is 16

Yes it's a lot. There are many adults who don't even make that type of money.

Yes it's a lot. But it also depends how may hours you work. You may get $25 an hour but get very little hours to work in which case it will still only amount to a little.

well... it doesn't matter what age you are. what matters is if $25/hr is a fair wage, or not? do other people working in the same profession get paid the same as you, or more, or less?

don't let "adults" tell you $25 is too much money or what, that's bullshit, and jealousy. if adults tell you about how much they made back in the day, counter with, "Well, remember you have to factor in inflation, a dollar back then is not the same dollar today because of inflation and costs."

I wouldn't necessarily say that it's a lot for the job that you're doing, because of the talent that it requires, but for your age, it's a pretty decent wage depending on how many hours you're working.

Realize that the current Federal minimum wage is only $5.85, so you're making more than four times that, so there may be some people that are a little envious and feel that you shouldn't be earning that much money especially when they aren't.

Actually- Yes. Especially NOW- with the Economy going down the drain... In a few months- you're going to be making MORE $$$ than half the CEO's that work out of Wall Street!!! So I'd HOLD ON to that job for DEAR LIFE- if I were you... Most of the Graduates that leave College this May- are going to be making $8. an hour at McDonald's IF they're lucky... :(

Hi,

wow..that;'s cool but be wise how you spend it...

Cheers

If someone wants to pay you that, then that is what you are worth. As you gain more experience, you can probably command even more. There are a lot of people who can`t do what you do, and don`t work as hard as you do, so they don`t know your value. I`m proud of you.

Yes that's a lot! I'm so jealous, wtf!!!

Never mind, I read your profile, it would be Australian dollars which is like 16 U.S. dollars, although it is a lot for someone on your age, I am no longer jealous.

Cheers!

YES!!!!!!!!!
