Question Home

Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Ok I have an audition with Disney Channel tomorow. What should I wear and how do

Question:I am sooo excited for you! I would dress professionally, dress for success! Make sure you get some exercise before you go to bed tonight, eat before 6:00 p.m., and relax in quiet one hour before you want to sleep. This will help to insure you are fresh for tomorrow and this will give you an edge! Everything else will fall in place, just relax and give it all you have!

chamita_latina55@yahoo.com thanks ok Wear somthing that describes you and somethinig comfertable don't act like your someone you are not :D
Good Luck

Please email me too! At iloveshoes101265607@yahoo.com. And wear something respectful, not a suit, but either a nice dress or like a skirt. And make sure that you thank the judges, or producers, or whoever your auditioning for as you leave. First impressions always count when you're auditioning!

Thanks!

First of all to answer your question-
Wear something that reflects on your personality, notice that disney actors have fun clothes. But dont go over board with too many colors and patterns. How about a pink top with jeans to show your innocence and girly personality (which is what mainly Disney channel feeds out)
Aomethign that is respectable-yet appropriate for the character in which you want to play.

with disney you need to be a happy person that smiles, but not too much they'll get freaked out and your cheek muscles would eventually hurt!! Dont act TOO cofident, but dont be too shy either get the balance right!
Also dont try o act like anyother charcter they have- they might want somethign new!

Have fun and if they like you they will take you on board!

(ps- well done on getting and audition!!!)

:) mq

Isn't acting, in a sense,
pretending to be someone you are not?

Wear something that you think shows your personality. Try to stand out, be appropriate but don't be to businessy, try something like this:
~http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=65631... more day-to-day but trendy
~http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=65644... a little dressier, but still kinda edgy
~http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=65644... a little more mature, springy
~http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=65648... younger, but still stylish and cute

I hope I helped. Just be confident in your abilities and comfortable in your clothes. The most important thing to remember is that your outfit shows your style, but don't let it cover up your personality and natural star-power. Good luck!

PS How did you land an audition with Disney?

Congrats first of all.. You deserve it. Email me if you get the job.. :D Bets of luck and all that good stuff. Let's get down to business..

You should wear something that is your own style.. I don't mean, wear something tacky.. Wear something comfy, but nice.. Like wear yellow.. If you can pull it off.. Or you can try blue or pink.. The fun colors..Or any other color.. Be professional about the audition. I say jeans and a cute top with some boots or whatever type of clothing you think that your character is like.. Be unique.. Well, be your own person..

Are you sure this is a real Disney audition? Not to rain in your parade, but I've seen this happen too many times. Businesses like John Robert Powers use misleading ads and fake "Talent Scouts" who hang out at Malls and places like Walmart. The ads say things like "Would you like to audition for shows like Hannah Montana and Zoey 101?" but notice the word 'like' in there? That's because you are not really auditioning for them. When that so-called talent scout comes up to you at the mall, they're telling you what a great look you have and how you would be great in commercials, TV or movies... All they're doing is trying to get you to come to their 'free' audition, after which they will try to hit you up for anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars because they will convince you that you can make it in HOLLYWOOD! All you need are these classes and this photo session. It's all BS, please don't fall for it.

You do need classes and you eventually need photos, but not from people like this.

I do hope it's a real audition, but I can honestly never remember ever having a real studio audition on a Sunday. BUT my children and I have been approached many times in the mall by these people making wild claims about our future in Hollywood and their free auditions on Sunday.

Also, I don't know where you're located but if this helps at all, Disney auditions generally take place in Burbank, California. If your audition is legit, I'd wear somthing simple but bright. No logos and no busy patterns. Something that will read well on camera.

Best of luck to you,
Marianne

it is best to go butt naked, but if you are not comfortable with that then you could go wearing REALLY tight leather, they really love it and it should guarantee your success. Also you could carry a leather whip, shackles, that sort of thing, it will likely boost your chances! As to what you should do to do really well, perhaps undressing during the audition? But just carry on with your lines in a natural way while you do, they look for the ability to multi task. Cracking your whip now and again would also be a good idea because it really shows you are unique and will make you stand out from everyone else.

I hope that helps, and good luck with your audition!
