Question:In the play 'Loot', by Joe Orton...the corpse of Mrs McLeavy needs to be stuffed into a wardrobe, and then it needs to be seen wrapped in bandages like a mummy, and all kinds of things...
We don't have an anyone to play the corpse. How can we do this on stage?

Get a set of clothing: Stuff tights or trousers to make the legs (put shoes or boots on the feet), stuff a shirt and/or jumper to make the body (gloves for hands). For the head, make a head by stuffing a small cushion or pillow case, for hair a cheap wig, or hat or headscarf with Wool strands for hair. Stitch everything together and if needed, dress in a long coat to cover the joins.
