models go on runways and on commercials,on catalougus, actresses are on tv.

Well,
An actress acts and doesn't have to be pretty or gud lookin! a wanna be model wud find it hard to get far if they weren't attractive.
plus! a model advertises somethin and an actress plays a part.

There is a HUGE difference between modeling and acting.

MODELING: You have to be extremely tall and extremely thin. Also, you spend your work days in photo shoots, shooting TV commercials, and walking down the runway.

ACTING: You have to engage your entire person into becoming someone else. You learn your lines and put real emotions and action into them. Acting requires a lot of body language and communication skills. People in acting usually act in theaters and film.
