Question:Hamlet, Henry V, The Tempest, or Richard II?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Hamlet, Henry V, The Tempest, or Richard II?

Do I have to perform all the parts myself, while also doing sets and lighting and costuming? What a challenge?

I'd rank them (1) Tempest (2) Henry V (3) Richard III (4) Hamlet.

I just love Tempest, it has great characters and compelling story line. I would want to edit down all of that intrigue among the nobility, and concentrate more on Prospero and the plottings of Caliban and the two clowns--much like Julie Taymor did in that production on the "Behind the Scenes" video. And if I have to play all the parts, I feel better with this one because it has no minor characters to confuse me.

Henry V and Richard III are really close to a tie, both historical dramas which can be deadly dull if done poorly. Henry wins because I like that self-referential quality of the prologue and because I'd prefer to play a heroic figure, not a villainous one.

Hamlet--ugh. Why does anyone want to sit through over three hours of mostly a confused prince spouting monologues and soliloquies? Give me a story where the character is revealed through action, not through self-psychoanalysis!

As you like it, havent a clue what its about but could blag it just on the title.
id rather not be locked in a room with your choices.

Cheesy, but Hamlet... I have a weird obsession with Ophelia's love story. ;)

we have two answers for you:1) hamlet, cuz in our opinion hesitation has been the worst block which has limited freedom of humen being.
2)hamlet,cuz a soul can be present in a locked room very better. best wishes!
