Should I try out for a play?

Question:I always wanted to do a play in high school, but I never got the chance. I am in college now, and I am taking theater and it is awesome. I am actually liking it, should I try to do a play at the school?

Hun, you don't know how much you are missing out. Yes! Go for it! try out! if you make it, yeah it can be a bit stressful, but you will love it! It's one o the most amazing experiences you can ever have!
Don't change your mind if you don't think you can do it. they can always use extras as well. But don't do what I almost did, i'm very shy, and almost didn't do it. I would hate myself right now if I didn't.

Sure! Practice by doing that thing that Sharpay (in High School Musical) did, that helps. I love acting, too! Go for it!!!

I am super shy, and signed up for advanced theater because I liked the other classes and the teacher. She said I could have a production role, and wouldn't have to be in the play. Anyway, long story short, I ended up with one of the two lead roles. I don't regret it at all. Good times, and lots of laughs. Go for it!
