Question: What do you think about my Second Meeting poem!?
Second Meeting
By Elaine Polin

Never far from thoughts of you,
I write my poems, sing my songs
to the echoes of your voice!.
Why are you not with me, though
ever in my mind and heart!?
My soul longs for your embrace
early in the Martian morn,
even then I dream of Earth,
trying still to hold you close!.
On this plain life is renewed,
still my love, I dream of you!.
Somewhere, somehow, we shall meet,
We shall meet and love again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nice, as intended!. Touches a person!.

One minor sticking point, I find when reading the line "On this plain life is renewed," it comes off that life is plain rather than you are on a plain where life is renewed!. A comma after plain would fix this ambiguity, unless, of course, it was intended!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For some reason, don't know why,I don't don't know you, but I don't think of you as a love poem writing person!.

But you are!. When souls embrace -- nothing better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
