Question: Comments on Lincoln's bird's eye view of the Inauguration!?
This country that stands united still
where all of its people are free
I sit here in my marble chair
and watch its history
rejoicing, yes, upon this day
but not because of a man

I see the love
I gave to this nation
continues to bear
Freedom's fruit!.

(As a descendant of Lincoln, having his blood, I took the liberty to express what I feel his vision today would be!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, Freedom and the Nation (We, the People) are what matters!. Whichever political party is voted into office, and whichever individuals occupy the White House, a transition occurs and the Nation evolves!.!.!.it's a beautiful thing to behold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm thinking you wrote this poem, lickity split,
I like very much, the quip, "Bird's eye view!." The marble monument
of Lincoln in his huge chair is so full of strength, I think you should
rewrite and do more with this poem, I'm sure you can make it more than this, yet this is good for what little time you wrote it in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What a fantastic tribute to your descendant President Lincoln, my other favorite in addition to President Clinton and President Obama, on this historical day!.

I just finished watching the inauguration, and felt hope floats once again!.

Interesting perspective!. Many countries in Western Europe are "freer", but I suppose in the U!.S!. "freedom" is still subjective, like art :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
