Perhaps then he’d
smile and they
would smile
and everyone could
smile because smiles
are nice and happy and
there would be
less blood

They could lay him
at The Mall

Spread him
before millions
drill him hard
cut trinkets from his gut
bathe in his spray pattern
dust his questionables
shift junk inside out
and dish it to higher numbers
to robes, to relative relatives
to the crooners the
only We believers
jointed dividers
beggar givers
rejoicing ;
“Look Lord
he chose this
he's free
willing

I guess the Obama reference came in with the mention of the word "Mall"!. Something/someone that gains great notoriety and respect - wanted and known my millions - standing for all the hopes and expectations of thousands - tends to be abused and torn limb by limb - for all desire a piece of the divine!.
