it's a myth shattering like a glass slipped from a hand into a million pieces as my heart lying on the floor to be swept up and thrown to the trash like it never mattered shatteredWww@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, true love does exist!.!.!.I have experienced it!. When I was in Murano (an island of Venice, Italy), I visited a glass-blowing factory!. The unwanted pieces were shattered and then picked up to be placed back into the oven to be re-made into new blown glass creations!. Just because something has been broken (or even shattered into many pieces) doesn't mean that it doesn't matter or that it can't be reconstructed into a thing of true beauty!. http://au!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=Zm0Iq5ebU9!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I think of the weathered glass my mother used to pick up on the beach in the summertime!. The ones who are in and the ones who are out, see it very differently!. And while, I prefer to believe that it does, that does not negate the need to consider the reverse!. Especially in verse!. Poetry allows us to muse over the heartaches that love can cause, either by its very existence or its absence!. A nice, concise piece, without getting too maudlin!. ;?)Www@QuestionHome@Com Suggestion: Remove the statement "true love does not exist" and replace with a different intro!. It was even those phrases of despair that proved you have loved "Truly" and well!. For even in cases of "brokenheartedness" there is true love involved, or else, no heart will be broken!. Perhaps, what you bemoaned was "unrequited" love, the absence of a response worthy of the one that has been offered!. Indeed, even in cases of unfaithful love it is not a case of love being "untrue" but love not made to last!. This is only to be philosophical about it!. Poetry is about expressing feelings!. Your poem is great with smooth flowing thought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
