Everyday when you call me
I want to say how I feel
As crazy it sounds
I know the things that you do
I know how you work
So you can't bring me down
Believe me when I say
I think you're cute
And we should go out
I think that we are perfect
At least that's what they say
When you're not around
I live my life in the shadows

I know that you will
I never do these kind of things
Because I keep to myself
So my emotions don't spill
I'm scared to let my heart

Really heartfelt, sounds like young love!.
Apprehensive too, I think it would sound really unique if you made it sound like somebody was thinking all this, like a hesitant (possibly wounded) teenager!. Like so:

I never do these kind of things
Because I keep to myself
steady mind, don't fill
