maimed, poisoned, mangled,
lay strewn across the desert, but…
at least we got the puppy out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've yet to figure out the brain's process of creating a Con-verb, but the previous answers clearly show that folks are studying and taking the time to research different poetic forms!. (Offering right hand for a congratulatory hand-shake!.)

Does the puppy need a home!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

IMHO, this looks like it, but it is not Really Solid One!. My humble understanding of a Con-verb is that the contrast line would be derived from ( and talks about) the main premise!. The puppy here, is anther subject whose main function is to shows that those dead were dogs!. That is not a hard hitting contrast line!.
But then, Sir, what do I know!?Those who invented the Con-verb would know better!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think it's a con-verb!.
I just got this definition right now because I myself didn't know what a con-verb was!.
CONVERB: A contrary proverb, the mission of the Converb is to be as controversial as possible in as few words as manageable!. There are no rhyme or meter requirements, just hit hard and get out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Isn't a Con-verb supposed to create con-troversy!? I believe few people would disagree with the irony you illustrate in this poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It reminds me of Brigitte Bardot who wanted to save the pets from Sarajevo, while the Bosnians (human beings) were dying!.!.!. I have no idea whether it is a converb or not!.!.!.!. Converbs still escape me!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I cannot figure out what a con-verb is!. I have tried, but!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
