Question: What do you think of my friends poem!?
Carrying my heart in my pocket,
Thinking it safe till death,
Yet when you walked by me,
I had to catch my breath!.
Stopping for a moment,
Shock across my face,
I checked my jacket for my heart,
But it was no longer in its place,
Now you've stolen it from me,
God, I hope that you know,
Cause if you haven't realized,
The tears will surely flow,
I do not feel worried now,
Nor do I feel fear,
Though my heart is gone,
You’re with me, right here,
Your breath stealing kiss,
As I’m safe in your arms,
Hearing your heart beat,
I've fallen for your charms,
Hiding from your gorgeous eyes,
Clasping your hands tight,
I never want to let you go!.
You’re missed when out of sight,
You claim me as yours,
My heart leaps with delight,
You make me feel alive,
You keep me awake at night,
This might not be love,
But I doubt it's a lie,
Whatever it may be,

I'm not much for mushy-lovey poems, and rhyming is not my favorite, but that's just the format of the poem, and i think, in spite these things, the poem is really good, like it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It's actually a pretty decent poem, however a rhyming poem like this one needs to have the same amount (or close to the same amount) of syllables for each rhyming line!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
