Question: When posting offensive poetry, would an appropriate warning call be, "Incoming!"!?
*****
Where is the body
of the lost sailor,
cast to the sea,
asleep on the waves,

He waits for an angel
to unwrap his collar,
and send him adrift,
a heavenward way,

Today with the dolphins
he floats in a coffin,
bobbing along
in his deep ocean grave,

He weeps for the widow
and cries for his savior,
to bless him and take him
away with the brave!.

TD, forget it!.
I actually vomited through his first reply to your Q, and I was stunned!. Seriously, stunned!. His schoolyard rhyme scheme that spoke of nothing and offered even less was far worse than laughable!. I felt a great wave of empathy for him as I finally finished reading his barf!.
I realized something wonderful; he's terrible and he knows it yet he is unable to stop!. Wonderful because it is really out of his control, his compulsion has gone beyond being stopped by force of will!. He simply cannot stop!. We are the brunt if his words, then!. Whether it be poetry that is so bad you feel physically ill and want to cry for him, or a spew of hateful nonsense aimed at others, his voice is heard only here!. He is not a poet!. He is just a lonely old man that played the game of life and lost!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Incoming emotional onslaught with this one, TD!. The words flow, the rhythm moves, gentle undulations that catch the mind!. In the back I heard the melody of the siren's song, willing me forward, wanting to the be the savior and comfort the widow and know that all I can do is stand by and watch!.

Powerful feeling evoked!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was looking for an aristocratic poetic debate, between two gentlemen speaking (poetically) of the same subject(s), letting the reader decide who made a better utilization of language and poetic devices etc!.
Foul language, bashing, and cursing never a noble behavior!.
In sum, a poem for a poem, about the same subject!.
Ah!Your poem is well penned!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, I invited him to lunch with me!. I offered a very good menu and he didn`t respond!. What makes you think he`s gonna play volleyball with you!? He`s scared of a delicate little girl like me!. Boo Hoo! " ianocoming" "ianocoming"
That is as offensive as it gets!.

CREATION OF MIND
Dark night kept me awake,
My mind whirling without ease,
Subconsciously it continued to work,
Naturally, as the hours passed by,
Quietude and turmoil spoke as if in soliloquy,
Borrowing words from the Oxford dictionary!.

Glued by awesome silence,
Not to earn my sleeping partner’s wrath,
The brainwaves continued to vibrate,
Words like a stream continued to flow,
Like one was milking my conscience!.

The graciousness of the Almighty,
Reveals to me in my dreams’ visions,
Those yet to seed come so vividly,
Involuntarily the brain continues to knit,
Entwining words stolen from a dictionary!.

My ego makes me feel immensely guilty,
Reality stands evidence as for my cheating,
How I crave, neigh plead, not to steal,
But coin words from my own urn,
As my inspiration,
Newer words into poetry does churn!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
