Question: Does this poem relate to anyone eles!?
I was reading poems when i came across this one and i was wondering if it related to anyone else!?
I have a friend,
she's silver and she shines,
Her favourite subject's art
and her favourite shape is lines,
Her favourite colour's red,
she draws upon my skin,
Some lines thick, while other lines thin,
Sometimes she draws deep and the blood begins to run,
To you it's disgusting,
but it's just an addiction I begun,
Never in patterns, just a line here or there,
Never too much, just the pain that I can bare,

but tell her she's not the only one
hope she finds something fun like art
I'm sure she's got a big heart
tell her to be smart
nothing is worse than being apart
of life with a broken heart
those red lines are real
but won't get her free
of the pain that's real
hope she realize her dream
to float like a stream
be the one with a theme
but I know she's got a big heart
she cant be apart

The poem is about self-harming!. It is common for people (usually young girls) who have a self-esteem problem to hurt themselves in some way, for some its eating disorders, others its drug taking, and for an increasingly large number is is self-mutilation which includes cutting their arms with sharp implements such as razors or even protractors!. It is never meant as suicide thoughts just self harming!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
that relates to someone i know, she is a self harmer!.its a very meaningfull verse which describes self harm, and how its percieved by the self harmer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
