:I wrote this 2 days ago, and in my mind at the time it was about a car crash!.
Today I was nearly in one!.
I've never been in one in my life!.
Freaky, huh!?:
Gray Skies so welcoming
I see a hint of dusk through the trees
And I watch my life scroll by
Playing slowly, to see it all
And I see my life in retrospect
There's my childhood
So happy, so simple
There's my family, my friends
All so happy, so friendly
But faded, worn out
Just memories, or shadows of memories
Of what they once were
And still I watch
My eyes fall dull, dreary, bored
And then I see her, in a memory
My eyes light up
I form a smile
And gray turns to white
I see her now, she is my my light
I move towards her
And at that moment, I am gone
But I am full, and warm
And I ascend into eternal light
and she is there, waiting
For Me!.
