Like Sonnet Like Oatmeal
(The Quick 2-Minute Kind)

Let me not to the union of true chefs
Omit ingredients!. Oats are not Oats
Flavouring flour of flour bereft,
Nor fading in mix within muse of coat:

O no ! they are hiding so - tastefully!.

Dancing shy beneath a cinnamon rain;
Cuddling coy sun-kists fancifully,
Beckoning to Wal’s, halved stoic in vain!.

Then tumble do they turn in twisted time,
Sifted swirling in sands sweetened awhile,
Such tendering - reposed to texture fine,
Peaceful their destiny tea-spooned pile!.

“ Ha Ha Ha” did the bitter-sweet chef sing
– cookies will you become at the ding……Ding !”!.
