Dragons never get cold
they hunker down
and wait for summer!.
We only see what we want
to feel and Lucy can’t be touched
or bothered by brown bones and pick axes
she hides under the dragon’s snout
waiting with him while dawn sails
through caves and canyons and hidden
relic trenches!.

I wonder if her hair was golden
when the sun found her dying!.
