Question: Old poem i wrote, what do u think!?
i dream of a world without fear
no pain, no misery
all the problems we have here
would all be set free

always happy and smiling
just doesnt sound right to me
we cant hide it but were trying
when you give up youll see

pretending its okay
never will be alright
we think but never say
were smart but not that bright

looking back and forgetting
all these things ive caused
never truly letting
my self to get un-lost

this sucks too
im just posting some of my older poems i found cuz i wanna see what people think of themWww@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty good!. I write too!. At least I can understand and get inside of this one!. Some of the ones I've seen from others just sound like a rambling of random thoughts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love it!. Sounds like R!.E!.M!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Interesting!. Leonardo DiCaprio said he enjoyed most the roles in which he could forget his mortal memory (see this day's yahoo notables) and I think that may be what your poem is influencing to!. 'Were smart, but not that bright' !. I wonder if this is a reference to the cunning of man, but his fearful hesitation to embrace enlightenment, lest it's qualities of mercy abandon him in his time of need, as it most certainly seems to in this still savage world!? Many species smile; but the species that comes to mind is the wolf, that only smiles when in sight of prey!. Men smile to show empathy, fellowship (when not tainted by irony) but this is unique!.
A final note: getting un-lost, perhaps returning to the stage which obligates you to inflict the devices you perceive as the agents of misery; but are unavoidable if you are to progress!? Listen to the little voice, the conscience; it will tell you if you are doing the right thing; the justifiable thing in the given circumstance (in consideration of all interests); and let it comfort you!.
