Question: Is my tongue-in-cheek sonnet humorous, thought-provoking, or both!? Would you comment on Grand Roi's verse!?
If I should die before my poem's complete
And leave these lines of flawed and mortal verse
In heaps of crumpled paper at your feet
Would you my poor and humble efforts curse!?
Or would you see that in my final day
A shopworn wisdom had begun to shine;
And if so, would you dare throw it away
Or would you resurrect what once was mine!?
If that, how could you know my final thought --
What deep and poignant insights I had reached --
What nuance of the cosmos I had caught
Before the Reaper had my life impeached!?
'Tis best if I not die before I'm done,
Before I've finished this that I've begun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I simply stated my opinion on the poem!.
I recognize it as poetry, yet I did not find humor or any thought provoking elements in it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
