Question: Did you realize the great treasures you find in thrift stores!?!?"!?
For the grand sum of $!.50 I found a book called "Designs in Poetry"
A very basic high school text in a Macmillan Literary Heritage Series, put together and written by R!. Stanley Peterson!. It is broken down into different types of poetry i!.e!. narrative, lyric; also chapters on form and structure, symbol!.
Not a long book, the poems are great and the teaching is clear!. Keep your eyes open, maybe you'll get lucky, too!

Perhaps it was the same thrift store where I found "A Bouquet of Poetry" for a quarter!. As yours is, broken into sections, with some master poets inside to learn from!. Good find for you! Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm typing this sitting next to a book case stuffed with second-hand books of poetry, about poetry, language, grammar, etymology, slang, quotations, thesauruses (i!?) and amongst them I have books for children which tell in very simple terms everything they'll need to know to understand the English Language!.!.!.!.!.all of them are well-thumbed!.
How to be well-versed in poetry by E!.O!. Parrott is worth a read!.!.!.all the poems in it are written by people such as ourselves before the days of the internet, which appeared in the Spectator, New Statesman and Society and The Times Educational Supplement!.!.!.!.every form of poetry you can imagine is represented there!. Oh, You have to be kidding me!. I volunteer in a Thrift shop twice a week!. From the brand new items with tags on them to the oldest stuff that you don`t even know what it is!. Two times a week I go on a Treasure hunt!. I have been working there for 6 yrs!. I wouldn`t give that job up for anything!. I met my best friend there!. One more thing, you are WAY above a 9th gr level!. Be kind to yourself, because there are alot of bad people lurking around to take you down!. I already know what you are trying to say, sometimes our biggest treasures are next to us and we may be aware of but we won't recognized it until we try!. Some people thought that they didn't need that book to be who they are!. They just judge the book by its cover and they threw it away, but you just made me think that there are some phrases that works when we need them!. Try to answer this!. Yea thrift stores are a hidden classic!. I tried to tell my mom to go there to look for a suit!. She had to buy a suit for a 1 day only situation, and she refused to take my advice!.

My bff always dresses with high priced, high fashioned clothes, and guess where she shops from time to time!. Yup the thrift store and the goodwill!. There are many clothes with tags still on them!. I brought a brand new twin sized quilt from Macy's at the thrift store!. crazy! I don't understand how people have and give stuff with tags!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have gone 'way beyond 9th grade level!. Still, we all have things to learn about poetry!. I have studied and written prose and poetry all my life; my first poem was published when I was 10 years old!. Yet, I learn something new every day!. Poetry is an endless well of treasure!. Marvelous find!. I always used to shop there for books!. My biggest find lately was a raku tea bowl they absolutely refused to take more than $4 for, even though you couldn't touch a similar one for ten times that, I know because I got a matching one from a Matcha source!. !.!.!.old cookbooks were my passion at one point!. I only got 2 of them when I left my ex he kept most of my things!.!. but even with the bining frayed and the pages falling loose, the one I took is my prize possession!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
