Question: Would you consider this good poetry!?

One of my friends just went through something really hard and i decided to write this poem!. Can you please tell me your opinion of it and if there is anything you think that i should change!. Thanks!.

A boy once loved this girl you see
Who broke his heart when she went away!.
Now all this boy can really see
Is the shadow of the girl
Whispering to him through the trees

Vivid! The last two lines are especially good!.

Some of the language is a little clumsy--in particular, rhyming "see" with "see!." Think about whether the rhyming is even necessary, actually!. As a rule, if you can say it in fewer words, you should!. Revise ruthlessly!Www@QuestionHome@Com
