by C!.S!. Scotkin Standard time has come at last I think that’s really fine! The only problem that I have!? My body thinks it’s nine!. It’s only eight, can’t go to sleep I’ll be up around four I may be getting too old for this How can I take any more!? My internal mechanism Winds down erratically I wake in the morning And it's only half-past-three!. I go back to sleep, though! The daft thing with this clock changing thing is, now it is dark in the mornings AND dark at night!.!.!.!.so what does it achieve!? The idea of British Summer Time (BST), also known as Daylight Saving Time, was first proposed by a keen horse-rider, William Willett, who was incensed at the 'waste' of useful daylight first thing in the morning, during summer!. Though the sun had been up for hours during his rides through the local woods in Chislehurst and Petts Wood, people were still asleep in bed!. He campaigned for it's introduction but died before it came into use in 1907!. Just because he didn't meet anyone riding through the woods, didn't mean that the WORKING population hadn't been up for hours!!!! Www@QuestionHome@Com Oh!. I like it!.!.!. The only thing, I think that in the 2nd line of the 2nd verse you should add one more syllable!. I think it would make the poem flow more!.
