Does this poem make since and seems as if it can be applies ot anyone!?
From your truth I was blinded,
And till this day I am reminded,
Of the hole I had in me,
This hole that made me feel unfree!.
Every day I went insane,
Tried to look happy but felt much pain!.
Why did I feel all alone,
Though I had friends, a family, and home!.
I felt there was a hole in me,
A part of me that felt empty!.
I would always try to fill that space,
But nothhing I tried would fit in that place!.
I always wanted more and more,
Though with all I had I still felt poor!.
Many days I'd wonder why,
I'd lie in bed and start to cry!.
Will it always be this way,
Or maybe will there come a day,
When my tedious serch is through,
And I will feel like someone new!.
Then I went to church one day,
Tried to leav didn't want to stay!.
Then something that I heard range true,
God's the only one that can stick to you!.
Why had he not stuck to me,
Though I accepted him I think at three!.
Was it that I never really did,
And all these years without him I lived!.
I think I'm always being kind,
And try to keep a godly mind!.
I visit church when I can,
And always put money in the pan!.
I pray at almost every meal,
I'm pretty good so whats the deal!.
Maybe we just wern't meant to be,
All this christianity!.
There probably is no Heaven or Hell,
Or a God so O-well!.
And if he was a God of love,
Who sent his son from up above!.
Why do I feel all alone,
And like I always need to grone!.
Maybe there is more to this,
Something that I mannaged to miss!.
Why do other Christians I see,
Always seem to be happy!.
Maybe they are acting too,
And really feel the way I do!.
But there is something different I see in them,
Like they fee forgiven when they sin!.
Why is that someone not me,
All I want is to feel free!.
I believe that Jesus died on the cross,
And to the world it was a loss!.
Then he rose from the grave,
And told us all to behave!.
You said you died for our sin,
So when we do were forgiven!.
But why is there such a burden on me,
When others look as if they are free!.
All I want is to have the same,
And to live a life with no more pain!.
Then I saw from you'r truth I was blinded,
And once again I was reminded!.
How all my life I had lived for me,
Trying to figure out how to bring me glory!.
From you I had tried to stay away,
Thinking on my own I would find the way!.
But in the end I was allways lost,
Without a way and some sort of cost!.
Though tough times kept on comeing,
I saw you'r had and kept on running!.
why was I so blind for so long,
When for a savior I did long!.
It was you who filled the gap in me,
And now with you I live in glee!.
No longer is there a burden on me,
And now I feel like I am free!.
Now I live a life for you,
And feel like a person who is branew!.
But don't think I just walk on through,
I am faced with trials too!.
I am faced with a challange every day,
But with his help I find the way!.
Anyone can feel the same,
If they live for God and bless his name!.
He is the only one that can fill that hole,
And let you live a life thats full!.
