The distance between us can only inspire me
To write words of delight about a woman so fair!.
My imagination and thoughts of her
Are surely shallow compared to the
Radiant person that is the real and beautiful Sandy!.

To her I can only express my gratitude
At the opportunity to hear her voice
As we spoke in southern, Irish and Scottish
Dialects not so long ago!.

SHALLOW RESPONSE
I forbade you expressly to express any doubt
But you were too shallow and just chickened out
You wandered around without any insight
and took a distasteful and fatal delight
In the fact that you lacked any passion or fire
And infact overall simply failed to inspire

THE OLD STEAM EXPRESS
The old steam express used to pull up here,
In this shallow valley in the shadow of the shade,
Where the coal man striving to inspire the track
Pushed plumes of smoke through the puffing stack!.
In delight I would stand and watch them fly
Over the hills in the pale blue sky !.

seeing beyond my heart
and into my soul
magically making me feel
complete and whole
