Question: Do we kill time or does time kill us!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
Time, depraved destroyer
of all things brought to life
stalking youth with poisoned arrows
and blood encrusted knife
with deathblows to deliver
it marches on again
transforming songs of children
into anguished cries of men
turning beauty haggard
hunting down the frail
whose hourglass has shattered
and colors have gone pale
stealing friends and lovers
creeping through the night
seeking out the brightest stars
extinguishing their light
The beast forever charging
devouring every day
in time we'll all grow older
and become the monsters prey

You have a wonderful, unique ability to put words together that REALLY say something!. I found this to be powerfully profound in expressing this aspect of time!.

Congratulations, Pete, you done real good!

Indeed it seems the question is a quandary,
however I enjoyed reading the additional details and took from them a
very well enjoyed group of thoughts which were put together quite well it would seem!.
Thank you kindly for adding those details and please continue to do so for the sake of myself and others like me who need to see them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Very nice!. I'd change "arrows" to the singular perhaps, to keep it consistent with "knife"!. also, apostrophe in "monster's"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
