I wrote this today because I was feeling inspired, but I really want to know if it is any good!.


When I’m Gone

When my whole life has gone away and all I am is dead,
And when a wreath of flowers has been placed upon my head,
When people gather ‘round my grave and everyone has cried,
And everyone has said their piece about the way I died,
When thoughts of me don’t flood their minds every single day,
And flowers that had graced my tomb have all faded away,
When sadness leaves the eyes of those who once had mourned for me,
And I am nothing more than just a long lost memory,
When generations all have passed and no one knows my name,
And everything that I once knew is not at all the same,
When pictures of me do not hang on children’s children’s walls,
And there is not one person who remembers me at all,
Then they could come and dig me up from my hole in the ground,
And all the love I have for you would be all that they found!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
