Question: My new poem!.!.!.In the still of the night !.!.!.what do you think!?
Can’t see straight
I guess I never could
I never wanted this, but then again who would!?
Thinking of you while I look up at the stars
The silence of the night is broken by the passing cars
I can feel your breath against my ear
But your not there, at least this much is clear
Throwing all my sorrows and worries at the sea
Trying to accept things and let it be
I can hear the echo of my heart beat
I get this tingling feeling that starts at the bottom of my feet
Talking to the black water
Hoping for an answer, but would it matter!?
Being out there in the dark alone
I pick up my book and pen
And decide to go back home

Honey, that reminds me so much of some of the stuff I write, and it encapsulates some of the emotions I often feel!.
And now that I know the deeper, darker truths that lie behind those words, which are rather akin {almost cousins!} to mine, it reveals new meanings and feelings!.
I like it very, very much, especially the idea {this is how it comes across to me}, that the poet has gone out seeking inspiriation, but not finding it, has picked-up his book and pen and gone home!. And yet the dark sea remains!.!.!.

Looking for something as the sound of the water and
wind is refreshing as it is frustrating!.
Your 4th line from the end doesn't flow as well as the rest!.
