WAVES

She has a pen
it holds her promise,
and a poet’s quiet solace,
placing words aligned in
time and
careful rhyme!.

She wants a notice,
proclamation,
clearly focused
sans frustration,
telling all the world
it’s not a game!.

In her poetry’s
the Ocean,
deep with feeling,
deep devotion!.
a loving hand’s emotion,
a scholar’s teaching notions…

I like Ocean poems!. This one is good because it rhymes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I didn't feel that this did drift off
but yes, if that seems to fit
poetry should convey feelings/emotions
bringing in the senses
if it drifts off
then fine
it is what you as the poet want it to be
and also what you want the reader to get from your writing
