Scotkin I came home early from work, looking forward to lunch, finish my day’s charting, while I had a munch!. As I stood in my warm kitchen I overheard them clear!. I walked into the living room Found just what I feared! George and Gracie, nose to nose, in the middle of the floor!. ponder the fate of the Gecko King, Bubba, whom I adore! Georgie: Well, Gracie, dear! We did it! I feel we did it right! Gracie: What do you mean “we” did it!?! Do you want a bite!? Georgie: Not right now, I’m not in the mood! Besides, it’s still breathing, don’t play with your food! Gracie: Georgie, I’m holding on to the tail Why don’t you grab his head!? Bubba: Back off! You freaking mammals! I’ll bite your lip instead! Mom: Gracie, drop that Gecko! Before I grab the broom! Epilogue: As I threatened , as I railed Grace bit down, Bubba flailed! life intact, but quite de-tailed! So, did George and Gracie get the striped muffler back!?Www@QuestionHome@Com The poets have quite a menagerie: cats, squirrels, bunnies, dogs, wolves, a rooster and heaven knows what else!. But these two take the cake--or the gecko!Www@QuestionHome@Com There's lots of good sci-fi about gene splicing human and gecko DNA!. I don't know about cats and humans, except maybe the cats would like to see more tuna in everything!.Www@QuestionHome@Com OH! I laughed out loud upon reading this! We live in the mountains and my two are forever bringing in lizards and mice and such!. You tell an amusing "tail"!. My cat, Rimmer - (how he got that name is a long story I won't bore you with), would get some poor little mouse!.!.!.and tease it!. Let it go and pounce on it, and maul it about a bit, and let it go!.!.!.etc!. If I tried to rescue the mouse, he would pick it up and run off with it!. I know it's natural!.!.!.but, I still hated it!. I'm glad Bubba Gecko got away to fight another day!. What does CSI mean!? A very amusing poem, and it takes a while before you realise that it does all rhyme!. Well done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
