Question: A poem inspired by Ma!?
My Burdens
By S!.F!. Reborn

I carried my sins in a backpack,
For miles,
Succumbing to the sheer weight of,
My burdens!.
Edging ahead, inch by strenuous inch,
In a quagmire of guilt!.

I locked myself in my sorrows,
In a smoke filled corner of my mind!.
Tasting the sour remnants of ill will,
And sleepless malice,
Looking for hope!.

That's when I invited Jesus into my life,
And He came and embraced me,
And stretched out His arms on the cross!.
Freeing me!.

From my burdens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This was very powerful!. It started out especially strong for me!. I love the image of carrying sins in a backpack, and the play on locking yourself in sorrows!. I thought of a school hallway, a very long one that never ends!. This was very inspiring!. One little thing, if you get rid of the commas in the first two lines, after backpack and of, it would read more smoothly!. I get carried away with those commas too, it's a hard habit to break!. I really enjoyed this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thanks for that
