we meet
cautious corridors
a place unknown
yet familiar
awkward poses sting
easy eyes soothe
4 left feet
going right
as they walk the long walk together, steps slowly get in line!. She starts to say, and he finishes!. He reaches in his pocket, she has it in her hands!. Stuck in traffic, the hours become minutes!. Red lights turn green and they stay, fixed in focus, horns honking to empty ears!. He leans to the right, nothing left to say, he’s driven to move on…!.!.
cold climes behind
warm in Easterly winds
islands sand in his feet
smoke clouds in her eyes
…!.!.still leaning right, minds meet to be!. Curling corners droop, as the moment wins them over!. Voltaic lips seal the connection!. Passion floods the space and in time, the air is full!. The essence of hearts beat for beat, mated in madness!. The only sound heard, horns honking!. They are driven to move on!.
