There's a fine line,
Between Heaven and Hell!.
You can walk down the stairs,
Or jump up the well!.
They can put on a smile,
Fake a sweet kiss!.
But deep down inside,
Harbor dark bliss!.
The eyes cannot see,
What the heart hides inside!.
The soul's a closed book,
Not a box open wide!.
A tear can be a trap,
And a smile a scheme!.
It's easy to put on a mask,
Make others dream!.
Be careful what you do,
Where your feet go!.
What the world plots,
No one can know!.
Forgetting how to Fly
She left a trail of bread crumbs,
Leading back to the grave!.
She hung her mask on the first tree,
And took the next one it gave!.
Once she walked upside down,
On the ceiling of the sky!.
But one day time stole her wings,
And she could no longer fly!.
The end of an old beginning,
But the beginning of a new end!.
Riding the wind with the ghosts,
Bearing wounds nothing can mend!.

Trust the world to be what it is,
But trust it not at all!.
Time's indifferent to what it leaves behind,
Shadows on the wall!.
Believe in me in all that I do,
But expect for me to fail!.
Frailty is the price we pay,
Learn from the tale!.
Judge the world not with your heart,
Or your mind as the case may be!.
We only hear what we wish to hear,
And do not understand what we see!.
Pray to be wise,
But expect to be a fool!.
Try to be kind,
But know you'll be cruel!.
Hope to know the truth,
But understand you will be misled!.
Life's like a book with pieces in code,
We don't understand the whole chapter,
Only that which can be read!.
