Question: I always hated clocks poem!?
Lets burn all the clocks and be free
melt all the hours and days
Put time in a bottle and cast into fire
make everything beautiful stay
Never growing old and tired
laying down to die
keeping true to a child's promise
never bidding our lovers goodbye
See every changing season
watch every flower grow
never miss the colors changing
or a drop of falling snow
despite my desperate notion
time remains the same
somewhere my own clock is ticking
impervious to flame

Oooooh, Pete, right up to the last 4 lines, I'm thinkin', WOW, an upbeat one from my angry young man and was delighted to see the change!. I know the last 4 are reality, your truth as well as mine!.!.!.but just once, just this once, add in "details" an upbeat ending, just so I can see you can do it!
Leave original as it is, it is grand, but just show me an alternative ending, peeeze!?!?!?

Pretty open minded there!. Hm, trusting people like presented in this poem would be a difficult task for me!.
Lets burn all the clocks and be free (to have freedom to do as pleased at any time!? or godly speaking!?)
melt all the hours and days (like a witch!? as if time didn't exist!?)
Put time in a bottle and cast into fire (waste time!?)
make everything beautiful stay (you gave beauty away!? now, what do you look like!?)
Never growing old and tired (um, that's impossible!. You mean, like never act you're age!?)
laying down to die (were all headed for death slowly)
keeping true to a child's promise (the inner child!?)
never bidding our lovers goodbye (goodbyes are the only way some times)
See every changing season (like mood swings!?)
watch every flower grow (time consuming)
never miss the colors changing (the rainbow!?)
or a drop of falling snow (burr)
despite my desperate notion (simply)
time remains the same (endless)
somewhere my own clock is ticking (what clock!?)
impervious to flame (poof)!.!.!.!.!.

That IS a nice notion!. By far, one of my favorite clock poems today!. Alright, you got me; it's my favorite clock poem today!.
Time DOES always remain the same--that's what time is, the same!. Everything else gets consumed by the flame!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
