Now your turning 30
Its time to reminise
About our favourite boy bands
And boys that we both kissed!.

The skimpy tops and high heels
The day we met 'the one'
Those really awful hairdo's
And the perm that 'she' had done!

Going out on the pull
cocktails on the bar
flirting with those gorgeous blokes
pushing things a bit to far!

But those times are now over
The skirts are by your knees
Your tops now come up to your neck
or you'll most likely freeze!.

The heatings on in August
You worry about the bills
instead of condoms and hairspray
your cabinets full of pills

Your doctor knows your first name
people call you mam
boy scouts help you cross the street
and you now cause the traffic jam

But never fear my good friend
as I am here for you
Cos no matter how old you get
I am that old too :(

A nice robust sum,
Some might say!.

A new decade to bolt across
A bejewelled bridge; an accolade of evolution
With the added bliss
Of the Twenty-something dismiss
A discard of all the chaos
And confusion of days gone past
Your future coloured brilliantly
With great measure and confidence!.
And yet ever-so aware
An attitude of "Devil may care!"
Pound that drum beat, my friend
Through the tri-fecta parade of your life
For If you looK closely

You are bound to see
