They; the boy
the girl the mother
the father,
they!.
It happens to
them!.
Dinner at seven and some homework,
maybe a funny show
and then it's time to hit the sheets
and sigh the sigh
of the sated!.
This is what happens to
them!.
School bells
and lots of fun
and learning and friends
clubs, activities
minor issues they laugh about
later with their faces on display
because this is them
not you
it is them

I was just a mere pup when I started having kids--thought I'd be cool, connected, in touch with the young'nes!. After all, I WAS a young'ne!. I relate, but truth I tell, the they you see is not always them!.
I was a they once, with the boy and girl, mother, father,
smiles plastered upon our faces, family envied by others,

Roses
Hello friends its roses again,
Roses all the way,
Only will roses ever stay,
Upon your coat button and as flowers
In a vase and ‘ Roses’ as a name for you
And then someone will say,
Roses are red
Violets are blue,
Call a rose by any other name
Still I t’ ll be true!.
Roses will remain the way they are,
Their smell travels very far,
From London to Australia
Or the bottom of the sea,
Where Jack Dawson was said to be born free!.
Had there been no Titanic there would
Have been no’ Rose’,
also no ‘Hello Canada’, to compose,
Yes my friend would have to say
‘’Why do I have to wear clothes’’ today!.
Another of my fans ‘Hassan’ would have no romance,
Without a Rose,’ Hello Canada’, would have no stance!.
Kroshta, or Cleopatra yes, Greek woman,
Any other person, American may be Roman,
Nor Solitaire would have been,
On the internet ever seen!.
For roses sure are red and violets are still blue,
My love for Canada is, as much it is for you!.
Roses will sell the way they usually do!.
Hopefully you all will display
when’ Hello’ does go,
‘’Gone With The Wind’’, He hopes so,
And does every remind,
Sweet memories of roses
He would leave behind!.
