When I Met My Muse
I glanced at her and took my glasses
off--they were still singing!. They buzzed
like a locust on the coffee table and then
ceased!. Her voice belled forth, and the
sunlight bent!. I felt the ceiling arch, and
knew that nails up there took a new grip
on whatever they touched!. "I am your own
way of looking at things," she said!. "When
you allow me to live with you, every
glance at the world around you will be
a sort of salvation!." And I took her hand!.

When I was (pushed) into this world, I sang the same universal melody :
Waa!.!.Waaa!.!.Waaaa!
And I have been singing it since then, but with different wording according to age:
I'm poor!.!.I'm depressed!.!.I'm abused!.!.I'm not free!.
In the end my muse whispered to me new line:
'I have chronic dissatisfaction syndrome!.' I couldn't repeat it, and found that the first melody was a lot easier and more profound:
Waa!.!.Waaa!.!.Waaaa!
Only then I found ME, and since then, I couldn't take my muse's whispers for granted!.!. without searching, so to speak!.

I do believe so!.!. in that I am able to find inspiration (or was) in so many things!. A person, a song, my dogs, the sky, a storm, the moon!.!.and the list goes on!. Heck even television inspired me at times, and we all know how vapid THAT medium is!.!.and yet!.!.!.there ya go!.

perhaps the key is as you mentioned "without searching!." At least for me mayhap!.!.

My muse met me very early on in life,and not understanding her purpose I drifted into her being as a safer shelter,but it was also a trap of my own making I had to climb out of!.We have a more balanced relationship now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
