Our empathy is endless
borrowed and defenseless
feathers in the fog flapping
bloodied fingers feeble tapping!.

We seduce a sudden smile
comfort and crass across the mile
marching the sheep into the fire
the undisputed champion liar!.

Our wayward judgements
are moral entrenchments
sewing ditches
with the promise of praise
from the mountain jury
in moon’s mad haze!.

As the jury (voters) reaches the verdict who is going to be the president, all promises 'd be forgotten, and by

and all done according to

Hm Marching the Sheep into the Fire!?

Well in the Bible sheep are lambs of God or (gentiles) followers
so are you saying that Many persuade others to follow them!?

And into the Fire well MAYBE you never meant to be a religious
word But what I can say is that it seems clear to me from re reading this That People Persuade the Lambs to leave the flock so to speak
and join the non followers in the sin they create
"the undisputed champion liar" well i would say that about sums it up
for me as it states in the bible that there will be many false prophets who "seduce" the heart of man to follow blindly in sin without them truly realizing it

OKAY so that was just my OWN opinion of the poem

But it was really good!
I liked the lines last lines

We judge others far too quickly these days
And Promises are always broken

Not sure about that last line though!?
