Question: The Almond Tree by Jon Stallworthy!?
I don't understand the symbolism of the almond tree!. I know it symbolises rebirth/birth/new beginnings but I'm trying to write the essay and I'm stuck!. Why is it mentioned every time the tone changes!? Please help, I'm so confused!. Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sorry that I cant help a lot!. you might want to work in a comparison with Philip Larkin's "The Trees" -"The trees are coming into leaf, almost like something being said" as an example of trees as symbols of rebirth and death!.
