Question: The ballad of Angrypete!?
second to no one in failure
romantically linked to defeat
last in a race to the finish
I give you the ballad of Angrypete
unauthorized poet
professional liar
unemployable dreamer
a screw up for hire
weary of social interrogations
leaving the public behind
prefering the darker corners
of his dwelling and his mind
years spent in denial
nights in local dives
half a dozen DUI's
one or two ex wives
Angrypete is gone today
so this tribute is suspended
he died alone with nothing left
just as he intended
his epitaph was simple
visited by few
"under your feet lies angrypete
the greatest guy you never knew"
