Question: Do parables teach or are they just stories for children!?
A simple parable

Gaia’s Wrath

‘I am Water, flowing free, flowing
Come ride, come ride my water ride
I am Zephyr, blowing free, blowing
Come ride, come ride my zephyr breeze’

Into the countryside Water and Wind
sent their greetings to all alike
and Gaia smiled as children played
gently they played, gently they played!.

The world was gentle, gentle then
and man and woman shared with all
but then man chose, chose another way
and greed became the food that fed!.

Now gentle Gaia arose in her fury…
How dare man upset the world divine!
Come Water come Wind and lash out
teach the man childs, make them fear!.

And to this day both Wind and Water
still teach fear to the man childs here
for greed grows stronger and man is blind,
blind to the divine and love of Gaia!.

A fine poem, but the world was never gentle!. It is an illusion to believe that 'man and woman shared with all!.' Every creature on Earth is wired to kill for survival!. And now we are killing our planet, as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Interesting choices!. Parable were a teaching tool to teach by example!. Looks as though some didn't learn from the parable and now will learn from experience!. Well done as always!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
