Question: Would you comment on stretched in flight !?
warm filtered amber lights on
lithe ballerina stretched in flight!.
dancing as if being suspended
by invisible silken thread!.
seeing her passion released
my undeniable pleasure!.
at once graceful and poised
yet erratic as a moth!.

whirling
darting
swooping

no pretense apparent
she moves without hesitation!.
no vestige of remorse
her soul’s truest escape!.

spinning
leaping
twirling

delightful moves conveyed
from her mind through to mine!.
eyes alight in concentration
she dances her solo dance!.
thunderous roaring in her ears
a final trembling arch!.
toes stretched and arms reaching
toward her heavenly reprise!.

What a coincidence! Yesterday I was speaking with a friend about how a poet is like a ballerina; the end result must look effortless, the pain behind it hidden!. This poem expresses exactly what I meant!Www@QuestionHome@Com
