A Job to Do

Have you even been
sent to a job
you were meant to do
but had no clue
for what it was
you were sent!?

You show up with
little known skills
just standing back
allowing others
the freedom
to do their own jobs!.

At the end of the day
you punch your ticket
wondering!.!.!.!.!.
what was that all about!?

Next day same job
you return to find
your boss
with a bonus check!

But, Sir, I hate to
admit, I really did
nothing at all!

That's right, He says,
job's finally done
that's why I sent
for you!

I needed someone
who would
get out of the way
and allow me
my will be done!
