I had a really hard time answering this!.!.!.not because I disagree, but I wanted to find a song to share with you!. I listened to so many of my favorites, because i do think they are beautiful poetry!.!.like Neil Youngs "Harvest Moon" and John Lennon's "Imagine" but tonight I chose another favorite to share with you!. His words even more touching because they were written for his son!.!.!.so here is one for you!.!.

this song was my first nudge towards an understanding of how powerful words could be!. it was, and still is, one of a select few that can soothe my soul when surrounded by strife and assailed by a world gone mad!.

so, yes, some lyrics are not only the most beautiful expression of poetry, but the most powerful as well!.
