You work to become what they want you to be
You change your style, your hair, and your attitude
You lose your self in an attempt to find them
To be on their level
You forget everything you stand for
And abandon everything you care about
You lose the real you
And for what!?
To fit in!? To be part of their crowd!?
Why work so hard to be like them when you're already you
Why abandon yourself to become them!.
As yourself you're an individual
Your unique, one of a kind
But as them, your nothing
Your just a face in their crowd
When people look at you all they see is them
When you try to find them, you lose yourself
But when you try to find yourself, you discover who you truly are
I guess the final question would be,
"Do you want to be lost, or do You want to be found!?"
