Is this rose You had to go Up to the sky And live with the clouds They tried to make you stay With their fancy gadgets But you said it was time And went anyway You left so many behind I can hardly wait for the day When we can dance again But until then All I can do is wait Any critiques are appreciated ^_^Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You captured the empty feeling we have when someone we love is gone!. It doesn't really hit until later, and that is when the pain is deep, the moments traumatic!. I remember well the first Christmas after Dad died when I was shopping; a cart full of things, then I wondered "What would Mom and Dad like!?" My face turned white, I nearly passed out, tears on my cheeks I left my hard shopped for basket and went to my car and wept!. Well done!. I don't usually like free verse, but this - it's wonderful, and very touching!. I don't know why, but it's the kind of poem that sticks in your mind!. In free verse you have to work harder with your choice of words!. Keep working on this in a relaxed manner if possible!.
