Deep Within
Thick blood trickles down his arm
the satisfying feeling of harm
the blood washes the pain away
but it comes back another day
scratches are wearable
but the pain is unbearable
in his viens it runs deep
he has no tolerance to weep
the razor is sharp
his sorrow a tarp
the blood is a river
he starts to quiver
it runs icy and cold
will there habits ever fold
his courage runs thin
a confusing feeling within
his body is leery
mind is weary
can he change his ways
from all of the goory days
stop the burnning of a deep slit
he knows he can do it
but it's happening still
he needs to build eternal will
for self determination to grow
