OK, before i start i just want to let you know im not looking for people to say "EWWW cuttings gross!" or ather shitt that attacks my personality or w/e, just about the poem thing!. ok here it goes:
Let the Blade Slide Let the Blood Flow Let The Pain Melt Away; As A New One Takes It's Place This Evil, This Curse; Can Only Get Worse Let It All Go With One More Try The Darkness Surrounds You As You Cry Please, Let It All End!. Let It End Now!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Is this cutting or suicide!? First, don't Initlal Cap your poems, it's unneccesary!. And NEVER rhyme them unless you have a reason!. Remember Adrienne Rich's poem that reads, "You do not do, you do not do!.!.!." Don't rhyme your poem unless you want to sing-song me in to a feeling!. But I'm guessing you don't!. What I get, and I might be wrong, is that the author keeps cutting in hopes to take over the pain of every new pain, and every new cut brings on a new reason to cut!. I think of someone crouched in a dark corner, cutting themselves to hurt more than the emotional hurt, from the poem!. About the practice of cutting, I'll say that it does no good in the long-term!. Cutting is like pounding your toes with a hammer to stop a headache!. Makes you forget about your headache, but only for a moment!. If you know someone that is cutting, don't be afraid to get them help!. Really, there are so many people out there, especially creative people, who need other poets, musicians, real-people who need other people to relate to and make it through any given day!. We all want to feel like we are not alone!. It sometimes takes a long time for some people to find each other, but it's worth the wait!. also, imagine that all-of-sudden, everyone who was hurting cut themselves, or OD'd, or something else similar!. Who would be around to write/play the good music!? Who would write the lasting poetry or paint the paintings!? People with that kind of passion for life or death or somewhere in between are needed to keep passion alive!. Nobody "owes" anyone anything, but damn!.!.!. the world sure does need it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I don't want to be mean but!.!.!. I cut too and the worst thing you could do is cut as far as a bone and loss nerves there (stitches for like FOREVER) And if you SHOULD be cutting then you wouldn't be CRYING because its !.!.!.!. never mind!.!.
